Our Occupational Therapist runs a fishing group at Lynnsport and they're looking for some more volunteers to run the sessions.
You'd be helping patients who enjoyed this pastime, but due to their illness, have been unable to carry on - until now.
Lynnsport has a well equipped area set up for fishing - all equipment is provided. You don't have to be an expert angler, just willing to help others handle rods, reels and their catches!
Ideally, you'll come along most Tuesdays so that the group gets to know each other - but if you can only help out occasionally they'd still like to hear from you.

About The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House
The support provided is tailored to the individual, encompassing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs in an understanding, caring and compassionate way, ensuring dignity is maintained throughout.
Care is delivered at the hospice in Hillington, either in the Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy Unit or via one-to-one sessions at the hospice. Care is sometimes provided in people’s own homes.
The current services cost over £2.5 million per year to run; the NHS funds only 32% of this, with the majority coming from the support of local groups, businesses and individuals.
