Join this practical, hands-on Naloxone training designed to give you the skills and confidence to act in a life saving situation.

Building on our previous session exploring the impact of substance misuse, this training focuses on recognising and responding to opioid overdoses—with real-world guidance and hands-on practice.

During the session, you will learn:

  • What opioids are and how they affect the body
  • Why overdoses happen and who is most at risk
  • How to recognise the signs of an overdose and respond effectively
  • What Naloxone is and how it works
  • How to safely administer Naloxone (with demonstration and practice)
  • Emerging risks in the drug landscape, including Nitazenes

✅ Free Naloxone kits will be available for those who wish to carry them.

👥 Who should attend?

Anyone supporting children, young people, or vulnerable adults – including youth workers, teachers, social workers, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and parents/carers. No prior medical knowledge needed.

Delivered by Change Grow Live, a national charity specialising in drug and alcohol support, this session offers practical, frontline insight you can apply immediately.
