Join this practical, hands-on Naloxone training designed to give you the skills and confidence to act in a life saving situation. 🗓 Wednesday 9 September ⏰ 10:00 – 12:00 📍 Location TBC Building on our previous session exploring the impact of substance misuse, this training focuses on recognising and responding to opioid overdoses—with real-world guidance and hands-on practice. During the session, you will learn: What opioids are and how they affect the body Why overdoses happen and who is most at risk How to recognise the signs of an overdose and respond effectively What Naloxone is and how it works How to safely administer Naloxone (with demonstration and practice) Emerging risks in the drug landscape, including Nitazenes ✅ Free Naloxone kits will be available for those who wish to carry them. 👥 Who should attend? Anyone supporting children, young people, or vulnerable adults – including youth workers, teachers, social workers, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and parents/carers.
