Introducing Get InVOLved Skills

Written by

Hannah Scuffham

We are excited to launch our new platform Get InVOLved Skills! This brand-new platform is designed to give both volunteers and those working in Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations easy access to training and development opportunities across Norfolk and Waveney. Whether you’re just starting your volunteering journey or looking to deepen your expertise, Get InVOLved Skills is here to support your growth and impact.

On Get InVOLved Skills, you can explore a wide range of opportunities from trusted organisations, including:

  • Introductory sessions to understand the basics of volunteering.
  • Health and safety training to help keep you and others safe.
  • Courses on working with diverse communities to strengthen inclusivity.
  • Digital skills workshops to boost your confidence in using online tools.

And much more!

The training opportunities on Get Involved Skills are offered in a variety of formats, including both online and in-person sessions, so you can choose the style that works best for you. The platform’s search and filter tools make it easy to find what you need - browse by location, topic, delivery method, or search by keywords if you’re looking for something specific.

If you’re already registered with Get InVOLved Norfolk, you can use the same login for Get Involved Skills. Any training you record and certificates you upload will appear on both platforms, making it easy for organisations to see your completed training when you apply for volunteer roles.
