Spaces available Volunteer Passport training course starting June 7th

The Volunteer Passport programme includes:


An introductory session and discussion with tutor followed by 5 Level 1 core training modules provided by Norfolk Adult Learning in:


Introduction to Volunteering

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Health and Safety

Safeguarding Adults and Children

Person-centred working


All these sessions will be held online and delivered on a Wednesday for 6 weeks. The course start dates for this year are:

 

June 7th     10am – 1230pm


If a face to face course is your preference there is an in Person course starting March 3rd at Wensum Lodge in Norwich. more information on that course is here


You will also receive:

Support sessions during the training programme

Help to find a volunteering role, if needed

Registration with Volunteer Passport scheme, certificate of completion and an ID badge


Once a volunteer has completed the programme, they will be able to use the Volunteer Passport database to keep a record of their volunteering activity, further training and other information, which they can then share with organisations when they are applying for volunteering roles.


The course is delivered online usually via Microsoft Teams or Zoom and you will need access to IT and the internet, we don't recommend using phones or small tablets.
