Throughout June the Get Involved Festival of Volunteering 2026 took place in venues across Norfolk. This community celebration featured volunteer fairs, open days, one-off activities and events showcasing the power of volunteering and included our flagship event the Volunteer Extravaganza!

Volunteer Extravaganza 2026
Our 3rd Volunteer Extravaganza was held at The Forum Norwich June 4th
Over 60 stalls were beautifully set up in The Forum to welcome visitors and to find out more about volunteering in Norfolk.
Volunteer Open Morning Cromer
Merchants Place in Cromer hosted a wonderful Volunteer Open morning to showcase volunteering to residents in Cromer.
Volunteering Fair Great Yarmouth
The Great Yarmouth Volunteer Fair was held at The Place. We had a lots of conversations about volunteering and a furry helper!
East Coast Community Healthcare: Volunteer social at Carlton Marshes
Staff and volunteers from East Coast Community Healthcare (ECCH) were delighted to celebrate Volunteers Week with a social event at Carlton Marshes in Lowestoft. The morning brought together nine of our wonderful volunteers, alongside ECCH CEO Adele, Marie, our Volunteer Coordinator, and Elissa, Volunteer Service Manager. It was a fantastic opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to those who give their time so generously across our services. The volunteers who attended represented a wide range of roles, including support at Beccles Hospital Activities, Carlton Court Ward, and the Kirkley Mill leg ulcer clinic. It was great to see so many different areas of volunteering come together in one place, highlighting the impact our volunteers make every day. We enjoyed a breezy walk around the marshes making the most of the fresh air and good company. It was a perfect way to unwind and celebrate the incredible contribution of our volunteers. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to all our volunteers for the dedication they bring to their roles every day
