As a volunteer you will work part of a team. We are particularly in need of help within our Scout Section ages 10-14 years who meet on a Monday night 7-9pm.
We meet regularly on a week night . We are totally flexible so if you cant make every meeting don't worry.
You don't need skills or training to get involved in Scouting. But we do offer a simple and easy to do (on your mobile/laptop) training, as well as a free DBS check and first aid training provided by us. There is also discount at a major outdoor brand too.
Volunteering is not only good for the young people and our local community but it also improves your wellbeing, gives you skills for the future, and helps you make new friends (and memories).
