Active Norfolk Foundation - Trustees x 4

The Active Norfolk Foundation is a new Charity that will be starting work in early 2025. The main focus will be the accessing of new funding streams to opening up new lines of physical activity work aligned to the vision of the charity.

This exciting new venture will be seeking to find new ways to inspire the people of Norfolk to become active with a focus on those that are affected the most by a range of inequalities. The new foundation will work very closely with the separate Active Norfolk active partnership and other local agencies to develop new and exciting physical activity interventions.

We are looking for 3-4 trustees to form the first Board of this new charity, complementing 2-3 ex-officio and nominated positions. This will be a unique opportunity to shape this new organisation and give it a strong footing to enable physical activity where it is needed most for many years to come. We ideally need people who are well connected in the local area, understand the VCSE sector, and are aware of the funding landscape but most of all we want passionate people who are keen to make a difference in Norfolk.
