Summary

We are looking for a Team leader for a wonderful group of volunteers helping to feed the homeless once a month.

Detailed description

Anon Street Team has been helping the homeless and vulnerable people of Norwich since 2013. We have over 100 volunteers working amongst 4 teams throughout the month to ensure that those effected by homelessness and poverty receive a hot meal every Sunday evening.


As a team leader, you will become part of a community of volunteers dedicated to making a difference to the lives of others.


The team leader duties will involve:


  • Maintaining a rota within a private Facebook group
  • Ensuring all roles are filled by your team of volunteers
  • Oversee the smooth running of your evening
  • Liaising with volunteers, vulnerable people and other like minded organisations
  • Transporting equipment to and from City Hall once a month
  • Communicating with other team leaders to ensure continuity between all teams
  • Occasional pick ups of food collections and donations


The role will include full training and support from the other team leaders until you feel ready to take on a role.

Getting there

We ask volunteers to arrive at 6:45pm outside City Hall, Norwich with the aim to start serving at 7pm prompt. We are usually packed up and ready to leave no later than 8pm.
