We are looking for a Team leader for a wonderful group of volunteers helping to feed the homeless once a month.
Anon Street Team has been helping the homeless and vulnerable people of Norwich since 2013. We have over 100 volunteers working amongst 4 teams throughout the month to ensure that those effected by homelessness and poverty receive a hot meal every Sunday evening.
As a team leader, you will become part of a community of volunteers dedicated to making a difference to the lives of others.
The team leader duties will involve:
- Maintaining a rota within a private Facebook group
- Ensuring all roles are filled by your team of volunteers
- Oversee the smooth running of your evening
- Liaising with volunteers, vulnerable people and other like minded organisations
- Transporting equipment to and from City Hall once a month
- Communicating with other team leaders to ensure continuity between all teams
- Occasional pick ups of food collections and donations
The role will include full training and support from the other team leaders until you feel ready to take on a role.
