We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help run our weekly art club! This would involve setting up, tidying away, preparing snacks, and assisting children
Hello! I'm Abigail, the founder and leader of Arts Table. What began two years ago as a small initiative from my home has since grown into a thriving association. Today, we proudly run an arts club in the NR3 area, hosted at St Mary Magdalen Church Hall, providing creative opportunities for school children aged 4–10.
Our mission is to keep the club affordable for all families, thanks to the generous grants that support our work. This ensures that every child, regardless of their circumstances, can take part in enriching artistic experiences.
Over the years, our young artists have been involved in exciting projects, including a field trip and a community exhibition that showcased their incredible work. We look forward to inspiring even more creativity and connection through Arts Table.
In addition to our regular club, we now run art workshops at pop-up events. Recently, we hosted a workshop at a school disco, which was a huge success. We’re also excited to be part of an upcoming school summer fete, where we'll be running an Arts Table.
As we expand, our goal is to collaborate with more schools and transition from an association into a nonprofit arts organization. To achieve this, we need volunteers to help us move forward. This opportunity has the potential to develop into something bigger for the right person, especially as we work towards formalizing our nonprofit status.
We're looking for volunteers with experience working with children. A background in the arts or an interest in creativity is preferred but not essential. Anyone with experience in fundraising would be especially valuable to our team.

About Arts Table Norwich CIC
Arts Table Norwich CIC is a community arts organisation that began three years ago around a kitchen table in a small terraced house in Norwich — a handful of children, some paint and paper, and a belief that every child deserves dedicated time and space to explore the arts. In response to shrinking arts provision in schools, that little art club kept growing: into local community venues, into two community art groups, a drama group, an in-school art club, an early years messy art club, a wellbeing-focused adult art group, community exhibitions and pop-up events across the NR3 area — even a place in the Lord Mayor's procession. This year we're proud to be celebrating officially becoming a Community Interest Company. Our mission has never changed: to create opportunities, celebrate creativity, and bring children, adults and families together through the arts — building community, one table at a time.
