We’re looking for volunteer moderators who can use their knowledge and experience of bowel cancer to keep our Facebook groups supportive and safe.

We’re looking for volunteer moderators who can use their knowledge and experience of immunotherapy as treatment for bowel cancer to help us ensure the group is a supportive, friendly and welcoming space. Please note: to apply for this opportunity you will need to be a member of our Immunotherapy support Facebook group.


This role will involve: 

  • using your experience of immunotherapy treatment for bowel cancer to support others, join in discussions and signpost members to appropriate sources of support
  • approving or declining requests to join the group
  • ensuring the group is welcoming and inclusive, and that members follow our rules
  • sharing ideas and concerns with Bowel Cancer UK staff and fellow moderators
  • attending regular moderator catchups with staff and other volunteer moderators
