We’re looking for volunteer moderators who can use their knowledge and experience of bowel cancer to keep our forum supportive and safe.
We’re looking for volunteer moderators who can use their knowledge and experience of bowel cancer to help us ensure the forum remains a supportive, friendly, and welcoming space. Please note: to apply for the role you must be a member of our Forum.
This role will involve:
- using your experience of bowel cancer to support others, joining in with discussions and signposting members to appropriate sources of support
- approving or declining requests to join the group
- ensuring the group is welcoming and inclusive, and that members follow our rules
- sharing ideas and concerns with Bowel Cancer UK staff and fellow moderators
- attending regular moderator catchups with staff and other volunteer moderators
