Voluntary Work Experience Placements
This opportunity is for placements that require a fixed period of work experience. For all ongoing volunteering roles please look at our regular roles
Our vision is a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases. We raise money to research treatments and cures.
Work experience is an invaluable opportunity to gain new skills, boost a CV and increase self-confidence, all of which will enhance employability prospects. We want to make sure the volunteering experience we offer at BHF is both rewarding and positive so that it provides the learner with plenty of opportunity to grow and develop.
BHF offers work experience opportunities across the UK in our Home Stores and our Clothing shops, raising funds for valuable research.
Our retail locations provide work experience in a wide range of roles. You will meet people; make new friends; and learn new skills. You will receive a full induction programme and further training in specific roles with the opportunity to gain a certificate showing what skills you have gained during your time at the BHF.
Once you have completed your placement you will be able to access a reference and have the opportunity to stay with us as a BHF volunteer.
Every pound we raise in our shops makes a massive difference to people's lives. While you are gaining work experience with us, you are also supporting your local community.
We are committed to offering you:
- The right role
- The right experience
- The right support
