Crucial and varied role suiting someone who is highly organised, is an excellent communicator and who is looking for a flexible role to make a difference

This is a key role supporting Trustees, the Committee and volunteers in general, main functions include:

● Preparing agendas in consultation with the chair and other Trustees. Circulating the agenda and any supporting papers in good time.

● Making arrangements for meetings.

● Taking minutes or arranging for someone else to take them. Circulating draft minutes to all trustees and arranging their approval.

● Tracking and progressing actions (their own and others').

● Working with other trustees and volunteers to support the training scheduling, volunteer checks and record retention, ensuring trustees and volunteers remain ‘in ticket’. Researching and booking training where required.

● Maintaining a register of policies and procedures and bringing forward such policies that are due for renewal in a timely manner.

● Support the Chair, trustees and other ‘lead’ volunteers by monitoring changes in regulations and standards that may affect BANS governance and working methods.
