Policy Stewardship: Regularly review and update the organisation's safeguarding policy to ensure it meets current legal standards and best practices.

Support & Training: Provide basic guidance to other volunteers on how to recognise signs of abuse and ensure everyone knows the reporting procedure.

Safer Recruitment: Advise on the safe recruitment of other volunteers, including completing DBS checks with support from the Secretary (records retention) and Safeguarding Lead Trustee.
