Volunteer Treasurer

Breastfeeding Mum Meets are looking for a new volunteer Treasurer!

BMM is a Norfolk-based charity providing breastfeeding peer support to local families.

The role involves keeping records of charity income/expenditure, managing our bank account, and preparing accounts annually for our Charity Commission submission. 

Our annual turnover is less than £2,000 per year. Time commitment for this role: approx 1 hour per month, flexible to suit you, from home. Occasional Committee meetings, up to 4 times per year, can be attended remotely or in-person in Norfolk.

Open to everyone - no prior experience of being a Treasurer required, our existing Treasurer will train and mentor the successful applicant.

You do not need any experience of breastfeeding (although you must be supportive of our charitable aims, of course!). We’re based in Norfolk, but the Treasurer role can be done remotely if anyone from out of area is interested.
