The Broads Society is inviting you to join our team as a Volunteer Trustee. This role is crucial in steering the direction of our society and ensuring we continue to celebrate and conserve the unique environment of the Broads for generations to come.

About the Role:

• Position: Volunteer Trustee
• Time Commitment: Flexible, with regular board meetings
• Location: Remote and occasional in-person meetings (immerse yourself in the governance of the Broads!)

What You'll Do:

• Provide Governance and Leadership: Play a key role in strategic planning, policy development, and ensuring the Society operates within its charitable objectives.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Work closely with fellow trustees, members, and the broader community to foster relationships and partnerships that benefit the Broads.
• Safeguard the Future: Ensure the Society's resources are managed effectively, and that we remain true to our mission of protecting and celebrating the Broads.
