Dealing with enquiries and lending out tandems and tag alongs to people with disabilities or additional needs. Every loan brings a smile!

The charity relies on volunteers (known as Helpers) around the country to store and lend out tandems to people with disabilities or additional needs. The Helper stores the tandems, responds to enquires and then arranges loans . Each loan is for 2 months, often longer. In reality there are not many loans every year. The Borrower collects and returns the tandems to/from the Helper. Ideally most tandems are out most of the time but the Helper needs to have space to store them as necessary, but we can find someone else to store them, if needed. This is a great opportunity to allow people to try out tandems before deciding if they should buy one. Borrowers are usually very grateful and the role is really rewarding.
