The Secretary supports the Chair and Committee of Chatterbox and is a committee member and trustee of the charity. The role would suit someone in/near Norwich.

Arranging and attending committee meetings (6 times per year), AGM, events etc, writing up minutes, dealing with committee correspondence and governing documents etc. A full description and training will be given to support this role.


Most of this role can be done remotely/at home, with some visits to the Chatterbox office in central Norwich and local venues for AGM and occasional events.

Chatterbox is a charity that provides audio publications for blind and visually impaired people in Norwich. Our publications use items from local newspapers, magazines, and recorded interviews with local people.

The service is entirely free and includes postage and loan equipment. Chatterbox is a registered charity, staffed by a 100% volunteer workforce, and funded through local fundraising and donations. Chatterbox also produces low-cost studio recordings for local authorities and commercial organisations.
