Chatterbox is the Taking Newspaper for the blind and vision impaired people of Norwich. We have approximately 80 volunteers.
This role is for someone to help find and recruit new volunteers and to provide admin support. Use of basic IT is essential - responding to emails, basic Word and Excel use. The work can be done at home but visits to our studio on King Street in Norwich from time to time are required. Needs someone who is friendly with good communication skills happy to chat to anyone. It is a very worthwhile role. Full training will be given.

Chatterbox is a charity that provides audio publications for blind and visually impaired people in Norwich. Our publications use items from local newspapers, magazines, and recorded interviews with local people.
The service is entirely free and includes postage and loan equipment. Chatterbox is a registered charity, staffed by a 100% volunteer workforce, and funded through local fundraising and donations. Chatterbox also produces low-cost studio recordings for local authorities and commercial organisations.
