We are looking for someone with an interest in learning and community engagement to help to shape the future of contemporary art on the North Norfolk coast

Cromer Artspace is entering an exciting phase of growth - expanding our public art programme, deepening our learning and engagement work, and strengthening partnerships with national galleries. We’re looking for new trustees who want to play an active role in shaping a small organisation that consistently punches above its weight in delivering high‑quality contemporary art in a rural coastal town.  These are practical, strategic, doing roles - ideal for people who understand the cultural sector and want to make a tangible difference in a place where access to the arts is limited but appetite is high.

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of community‑centred cultural practice, who knows how to build trust, reach new audiences, and design programmes that feel welcoming, inclusive and relevant.  You’ll help shape our learning and engagement offer across Cromer and North Norfolk, working with children, young people, families, schools, community groups and people who may not currently see art as “for them”. You’ll bring sector insight into co‑creation, participation, informal learning and place‑based cultural work.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to champion creativity in a rural context and help embed lifelong learning into the fabric of a coastal town.
