We seek a volunteer assistant treasurer to assist with scanning, processing and e-mailing invoices and day to day taking sheets.

CNAM is seeking volunteer assistance for a part-time, hybrid position located in the Norwich area (Norfolk, UK). The assistant treasurer will be responsible for assisting the museum Treasurer with day to day scanning of invoices, receipts and inputting of goods to our EPOS system.

Prospective applicants should hold a current DBS check with no restrictions or be willing to apply for one, should be eligible to work in the UK. A CV will be required, and you will be invited to meet us at the Museum to familiarise yourself with our activities. We hope to hear from you!

Ideal Background

  • Accounting, financial management, and budgeting expertise
  • Proficiency in tracking financial transactions and maintaining records
  • Experience with handling payroll processes and regulatory compliance for non-profits or charities
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as spreadsheet applications
  • Good communication skills to present financial updates to stakeholders and collaborate with a diverse team
  • Understanding of finance regulations and best practices for charities is a plus
  • Prior experience in financial management for a non-profit or charity organisation is desirable
