Do you love football and enjoy connecting with people? Deafblind UK is looking for a volunteer to facilitate a regular telephone or video-based football group.

About the Role

Do you love football and enjoy connecting with people? Deafblind UK is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to facilitate a regular telephone or video-based football group for our members. This friendly and informal group will bring together football fans to chat about their favourite teams, recent matches, football history, major tournaments and everything in between. As the facilitator, you'll help keep conversations flowing, encourage participation and create a welcoming environment where everyone feels included.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone with a genuine passion for football, good communication skills, and an interest in helping people build social connections. You don't need previous facilitation experience—we'll provide training and support—but you'll need to be reliable, friendly and confident engaging with a small group.

What You'll Gain

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to people living with sight and hearing loss while sharing your enthusiasm for the beautiful game. You'll receive support from the Deafblind UK team, gain valuable experience and help reduce loneliness by connecting people through a shared interest. Join us and help create a space where football fans can come together, share their passion for the game and enjoy great conversations.
