*This opportunity required applicants to be available on Thursday 11th June*

Each year, we ask industry professionals to act as assessors for students across the country who have been working on their Bronze Industrial Cadets Projects. We invite you to apply your expertise to evaluate the projects presented by our  Project teams and decide which students have gone above and beyond, and qualify for one of our additional awards.

What the role includes:

  • You will receive a copy of up to 4 project reports one week before the assessment date. Read each project report and make notes you feel are necessary to help you on assessment day.
  • With other STEM professionals, you will watch up to 4 virtual presentations on assessment day. Ask students questions about their project report, supporting evidence and presentation. Use the marking sheet to assess each team’s report, presentation and response to questions.
  • Decide which teams to nominate as award winners.
  • Complete a feedback form to be sent to the students.

This is an opportunity to support and encourage young people as they move through their education with a keen interest in STEM careers.

Please complete the attached form to share your details with us and a member of the team will be in touch.
