Event Support Volunteers

Why we need you

We are regularly invited to attend events and they provide a great opportunity for us to talk about the work we do. We take the chance to share information about the charity and make sure we are spreading the word about the work of EAAA. If you like getting out and about and meeting people, this is the role for you.

What you will be doing

• Working with the Fundraising team, attending events on our behalf and providing hands on help

• Helping to set up and pack down our event equipment

• Being the face of EAAA out in the community, talking about what we do and raising awareness

When you will be volunteering

Events are held across the region throughout the year, although the summer months are usually busier, so there’s bound to be some happening near you and the hours are pretty flexible too.

What you need for this role

 • To be friendly, approachable and enthusiastic

• Enjoy meeting new people and working in a team

• Your own means of transport is really useful but not essential

• A willingness to help with setting up our equipment and packing down

• A commitment to undertake training
