Summary

A client living in the Lowestoft area is in need of weekly support to carry out leg aftercare following discharge from ECCH's community nursing team.

Detailed description

A client living in the Lowestoft NR32 area is in need of weekly support to carry out leg aftercare following discharge from ECCH's community nursing team. 

 

We are looking for a volunteer who would be able to assist the client in removing compression socks, washing and drying the legs and then re-applying the compression socks. This support would be required on a weekly basis for up to 3 months

 

If this is something you would be interested in please get in touch for further details. Please note that this volunteering role will require an enhanced DBS check - the cost of which will be covered by Voluntary Norfolk.  Volunteers will also be required to undertake full training on best practice on removing and putting on compression hosiery, how to help clean the legs and things to look out for, before starting in this role.
