Telephone Admin Volunteers help collect valuable feedback from patients by supporting them to complete an online survey.
Join our small team of volunteers who collect valuable feedback from patients who have agreed to be contacted over the phone. Volunteers help patients to complete an online survey called the NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT). This feedback is crucial to East Coast Community Healthcare (ECCH) in improving patient experience and this role offers the opportunity to make a fantastic contribution to the work that ECCH do, as well as building your experience in administration skills for a healthcare organisation.
You will be set up with access to an ECCH email address and provided with an mobile phone to make calls to patients. You will require a good internet connection and access to a computer or tablet to complete the surveys. Your role will be to contact patients by phone and follow a pre-written script to carry out a feedback survey and accurately record the patients’ responses via an online form. Once you have contacted all the patients on your list you can request a new list of names. There is no minimum number of surveys to be completed each week and calls can be carried out to your own schedule.
The role involves some online training prior to starting. We also undertake Safer Recruitment checks, which will involve providing 2 character references and an in-person ID check.
Please note we are only able to accept volunteers living in Norfolk or Waveney (Waveney is north east Suffolk area) for this role. This is because we will meet you to provide a mobile phone and complete the ID check.
Volunteers need to be aged 18 and over. You must be fluent in written and spoken English to confidently call patients over the phone.
