Youth Leader

Exchange 2 is a registered charity providing drop-in evening facilities at The Cabin for young people in school years 7-13. The Cabin is a safe and welcoming space that young people can call their own, it's a place for them to relax, socialise, learn and grow.

What you’ll do:

• Support the team in running and managing sessions at The Cabin
• Help provide a safe, supportive environment for young people
• Assist with planning and supervising activities
• Maintain records, such as attendance and incident forms
• Take part in training and team meetings as needed

What we’re looking for:

• A respectful, reliable team player
• Good communication skills with young people and adults
• An understanding of the needs of young people
• Willingness to follow health, safety and safeguarding policies

Training provided: First aid and safeguarding training available for all volunteers.

Volunteering with Exchange 2 is a rewarding opportunity to support your community, gain experience working with young people, and be part of a passionate, friendly team.

Location: Harleston, Norfolk

Hours: Flexible, evenings, this can be one evening a week/fortnight/month. Sessions at The Cabin run for up to two hours,
