Summary

We are looking for volunteer receptionists to help out on our reception. Welcoming women to Feathers Futures.

Detailed description

The role will involve being the first point of contact for women coming into Feathers Futures, finding out how we can help, signing in and showing them where to go. Often women can be anxious on their first visit so it's important that their first impression is positive and caring.

The role will also involve answering the phone and some basic office admin that we will help you learn how to do.

We offer all our volunteers an induction, training including modules such as safeguarding and GDPR as well as a six weekly 1-1 and an optional six weekly volunteer group catch up where volunteers either take part in well-being activities or we provide additional training relevant to the role.

We do ask that all volunteers complete a DBS check that we pay for.

This service is run by women for women and is therefore restricted to female applicants under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, and Part 1. Section 7(2) e of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 apply.
