Our grand piano at Flebrigg Hall is ready to be enjoyed—we’d love volunteers to come and play and help create a welcoming atmosphere for our visitors.
By getting involved, you could…
- Practice playing on a boudoir grand piano by Bechstein inside a beautiful historic house
- Build confidence in performing in a relaxed setting in front of friendly visitors, we welcome volunteers of intermediate levels and above who would like to gain experience playing in public
- Select and perform your own music, we’re happy for you to play different genres from classical to modern
- Take part in a flexible volunteering with opportunities to play regularly or occasionally. Piano playing sessions are between 1 – 3 hours with lots of breaks
- Contribute your time, skills, and enthusiasm to our charitable cause
You’d also be joining Europe’s largest conservation charity and the wider National Trust team proudly looking after 780 miles of coastline, over 250,000 hectares of land, over 500 historic houses, castles, ancient monuments, gardens, parks and nature reserves (including lighthouses, villages, pubs and a gold mine!). We are a unique charity welcoming millions of people each year and with a vision to open up places for the benefit of everyone, for ever.
What’s involved?
