Festival Volunteers

First Light Festival is back for our 6th year celebrating the first sunrise of midsummer in the UK's most easterly town! A free for all beach festival that hosts over 160 events across arts, science and culture.

There are a variety of roles available including;

• Event Steward - Assist us with the smooth running of events and performances, welcoming and interacting with the public/audiences. Depending on the area you are supporting you may be required to check tickets, help the team to manage crowds and capacities of venues. 
• Festival Ambassador - Our ambassadors are key to connecting with festival visitors to support their experience and gain feedback for future events. As an ambassador you will be passionate about the local area and the festival. 
• Festival Wardens - Environment - Our festival wardens are vital to supporting First Light’s commitment to the local environment. We are looking for volunteers to ensure that the site remains clean and clear and help to promote our environmental commitment to our audience members.  
• Campsite Stewards - We have some volunteers support the campsite team in setting up pitches and helping our campers on the Friday evening.
