Charity Shop Assistant

We're looking to build a team of friendly and reliable volunteers to support the day-to-day running of the NR5 Charity Shop at the Baseline Centre.

You will be trust worthy, willing to undertake training required for the role and able to provide friendly, high quality service to customers. Previous experience in retail is beneficial but not essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving customers, responding to queries and recording purchases and completing electronic payments

• Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and well presented to promote sales

• Receiving and cataloguing donated items, and preparing these for display and sale

• Assisting with shop displays, labelling/pricing and stock monitoring

• Are reliable and organised
• Work well with others and will checks details with staff when needed
• Will follow shop policies on pricing, reservations, privacy/safeguarding, and representing the charity positively

This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, staying organised, and taking pride in creating a welcoming shop environment.
