We're looking for a confident, friendly volunteers to host our fundraising pub quizzes at The Fat Cat & Canary
We're looking for confident, friendly volunteers to join our team of pub quiz hosts. Our fundraising quiz takes place weekly at The Fat Cat & Canary on Thorpe Road and raises, on average, £4,500 per year.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to people, bringing energy to a room, and help helping create a fun, welcoming atmosphere. As quiz host, you'll guide teams through the rounds, read out questions and keep the evening moving.
You don't need previous hosting experience - just enthusiasm, a clear speaking voice, and a willingness to get involved. We'll provide the quiz questions and support you with everything you need on the night.
Commitment wise, the quiz happens at 8pm on Wednesday nights and we work on a rota basis meaning you won't be expected to host every week. Typically, you'll be scheduled in every 4 weeks (unless you'd like to volunteer for more shifts).
Interested? We’d love to hear from you. Get in touch to find out more and help us make the quiz night a success!
