Summary

Voluntary Norfolk is looking for a volunteer Videographer who would help create new video content for the charity's website and social media accounts.

Detailed description

The role is very flexible; if you know how to shoot and edit video footage and know how it can best be presented, it doesn't really matter how much time you're willing to offer. If you want to do just one small project, that's fine. If you're willing to make a few videos, that's great too! Voluntary Norfolk runs many projects that improve lives of people in Norfolk and you will have the opportunity to work on projects and causes that are closest to your heart.

The primary focus will be creating a series of short (5-30second) videos that can be used on Voluntary Norfolk’s Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts. Secondly there will be an opportunity to create longer (3-5minute) videos about the organisation’s work, particularly our new volunteering platform Get InVOLved Norfolk and its trading arm (CBR Business Solutions), which provides HR support, DBS checks and payroll services for charities and small businesses across the country.

You will be working alongside three other staff members of the communications team as well as potentially other teams within Voluntary Norfolk. Direction regarding the key messages that the footage should convey will be given, but there will be considerable freedom about how that is presented.

Although most of the work will be done in Norwich, Voluntary Norfolk is a charity that is committed to working with people to improve lives and strengthen communities across Norfolk and even beyond so some travelling may be required.
