Summary

Volunteers have amazing skills and we want you to pass them on! We help all girls know they can do anything – can you help us achieve it?

Detailed description

A girl’s world begins in Girlguiding – but a girl’s world wouldn’t exist without our amazing volunteers and we would love for you to be part of it.

By volunteering with us, you’ll be helping girls build their confidence, have adventures and learn new skills. It doesn’t matter what your experience or background is, or how much time you have. We meet locally in venues across Norfolk and will put you in touch with the nearest unit to you.

Volunteering for Girlguiding is a great way of meeting new people and taking a break from your daily routine. You can also build your own skills by taking our leader development programme, becoming a first aider or qualified outdoor activity instructor. Whatever it is you’re looking for, there’ll be something in it for you.

Anyone can volunteer with us. There’s no requirement to have been involved in guiding before. Becoming a role model doesn’t need a full-time commitment – there are all sorts of flexible ways to get involved. We also welcome students and teenagers looking for a volunteer opportunity to build their CV and develop skills for the future.

Whether you want to help behind the scenes, at special events, or get involved every week, there’s loads of ways to inspire girls with Girlguiding.

Contact us with any questions or go to any of our websites and click on “Join us” and we will contact you.
