Join Our Friendly Meals on Wheels Team!
We’ve been proudly serving our community for the past 13 years, working in partnership with Age UK, a range of local charities, and the local council. Our mission is simple but powerful — to help people stay in their own homes for as long as they wish. We believe everyone has earned that right.
As a driver, you’ll do more than just deliver a hot, freshly prepared meal — you’ll bring comfort, conversation, and care. Sometimes that means taking a moment to plate up a meal or lend a listening ear. The gratitude you receive makes every visit worthwhile.
We’re a welcoming, supportive, and friendly team, and full training is provided.

Please volunteer with Good Wholesome Food – Good Wholesome Food, a trusted Meals on Wheels service in Norwich, is seeking reliable and compassionate volunteers to help deliver meals to those in need.
We cover the NR1 to NR7 postcode areas and provide a vital service to our community, ensuring that individuals who struggle to cook for themselves receive a hot, nutritious meal every day.
Full training provided: No prior experience necessary
Mileage reimbursement: 45p per mile to cover your travel costs.
What we are looking for
Reliable and compassionate individuals with their own transport.
People who can commit to a few hours a week (working hours12.00Pm -2:00pm, if you can contribute on either a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, please get in contact).
