Make a difference in your community! If you love organising events and bringing people together, this rewarding volunteer role is for you.

Could you inspire your local community while helping change lives?

We're looking for a volunteer Fundraising Group Coordinator to help lead a friendly team of volunteer fundraisers in the Norwich area.  Together, you'll organise a variety of fundraising events and collections that raise vital funds and awareness for Guide Dogs, helping people with sight loss live the life they choose.

This is a flexible role that can be shaped around you. Whether you have lots of time to give or just a few hours each month, you can make the role your own, with the option to share responsibilities with another volunteer.  You'll be fully supported by your local fundraising team and a dedicated Guide Dogs volunteer manager every step of the way.

Why volunteer with Guide Dogs?

As a Fundraising Group Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting life-changing services for people with sight loss while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling volunteer experience.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Make a genuine difference in your local community.
  • Meet new people and build lasting friendships.
  • See first-hand the impact your fundraising has on people's lives.
  • Spend time with incredible dogs, from guide dog puppies and dogs in training to qualified guide dogs.
  • Organise fun and engaging events that bring communities together.
  • Share your existing skills while gaining new experience in leadership, event organisation and community engagement.
  • Enjoy the support of a welcoming team that values your contribution.

Training and support

No previous fundraising experience is needed.  We'll provide all the training and support you need to feel confident in the role, including guidance on:

  • Organising successful fundraising events.
  • Developing creative fundraising ideas.
  • Supporting and coordinating volunteer activities.

Training is delivered through engaging online learning, with alternative formats available where needed.

A flexible volunteering opportunity

We know that everyone has different commitments, so this role is designed to be flexible.  You can contribute as much or as little time as suits you, and you'll always have support from your Guide Dogs volunteer manager and fellow volunteers.

We also reimburse reasonable volunteering expenses, including travel costs, so volunteering with us will never leave you out of pocket.

If you enjoy bringing people together, organising events and making a positive impact in your community, we'd love to welcome you to our Norwich fundraising team.
