About HIP Charity
Our aim is to improve the quality of life for people living in Harleston and surrounding areas by providing access to services, support, information and activities not otherwise available locally.
About the Role
As a Trustee of HIP you will play a vital role in ensuring the Charity is well-run, sustainable, and delivers maximum benefits for our community.
Your Key Responsibilities as a Trustee
- Uphold and promote our charitable objectives and values
- Make strategic decisions to help us deliver our mission effectively
- Ensure we comply with charity and company law
- Oversee financial management and ensure long-term sustainability
- Support and guide the staff in a constructive manner
- Promote the wellbeing of our employees, volunteers and service users
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and walks of life. Previous trustee experience is not required, what matters most is your commitment to our community, and your willingness to take part in delivering on all our key responsibilities.
