We currently provide a safe and supportive home for 29 women as they move towards greater independence and stability.
Our active, engaged, and newly expanded Board of Trustees works closely alongside our highly experienced Chief Executive and senior staff members to cultivate a community of dignity, safety, and hope. The Board meets in person 4-6 times a year.

There is therefore a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the Chair of Trustees be an active and committed Christian.
As we continue to develop and strengthen our work, we are seeking a new Chair of Trustees to lead the Board and help guide the charity through its next phase of growth.
- Working closely with our highly experienced Chief Executive and a Board of Trustees with a range of skills and backgrounds, the Chair will provide strategic leadership, support effective governance, and help shape the future direction of the charity.

- You will ensure balanced decisions-making, enabling both executive and trustee board members to contribute their insights to deliver the Trust’s strategic objectives.
- You will provide coherent leadership, including representing the Trust and understanding the view of stakeholders.
- You will act as a trusted partner and constructive sounding board to the Chief Executive and her senior leadership team, offering support, challenge, and encouragement where appropriate, to ensure effective implementation of board decisions.
