Are you passionate about cooking and community? Do you enjoy bringing people together over a warm, home-cooked meal?
Holt Community Centre is looking for a Volunteer Chef to help prepare and cook a free community lunch every Thursday. Our Lunch Club provides a hot, nutritious meal for older and vulnerable members of our community—and it’s often the highlight of their week!
What you’ll do:
- Plan and prepare a simple, tasty meal for around 70-90 people
- Work alongside a friendly team of volunteers
- Help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for everyone who attends
What we’re looking for:
- Confidence in the kitchen (professional experience not required!)
- A love of cooking and helping others
- A team player with a big heart and a good sense of humour
