As an academic support tutor you can support a young persons's academic progress and provide inspiration and encouragement to children from the local community.

Our after-school Academic Support Programme provides free tutoring and support to young people aged 8 to 18 in a stimulating classroom environment.

Young people receive help with homework, coursework, revision and study skills. Our academic support programmes run during term time from Mondays to Thursdays but you can choose which days to be part of. Our after school secondary academic support programmes run on Mondays and Thursdays and our Primary academic support sessions run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for 1.5 hours each.

We ask that our Academic Support volunteers have a minimum grade 4/C or higher in Maths and English, National 5s or Standard Grade at Credit Level, grades 1-2 (or equivalent).
