Summary

Mentor a young person aged 10-17, and support their academic, social and future development.

Detailed description

As a university student mentor, you will be paired with a young person aged between 10-17 years and plan and lead one-to-one sessions, supporting your mentee with academic skills, social and emotional development, and future thinking.

You will also get the chance to attend group events with other mentoring pairs and celebrate your achievements at our annual Mentoring Celebration. The sessions take place once every two weeks during term time and can also be held virtually if volunteering in Great Yarmouth. Some activities that our mentoring pairs have undertaken are revision for Year 6 SATS, creating vision boards, arts and crafts and mug cakes.
