Summary

We are looking for a volunteer to assist with general administrative duties and outcome recording within MAP's Advice Team based in Norwich.

Detailed description

We would love to hear from people who are comfortable both on computers for inputting information and by phone in communicating with young people. The role can be flexible and completed at home (providing there is a reliable internet connection) or in the office. Commitment is approximately 4-6 hours per week.

The volunteer role will include the following opportunities:

•    To become a valued and key source of administrative support to the team's administrator.

•    To support a team who help young people aged 11-25 in many areas from homelessness and debt to mental health and parenting.

•    To be offered training and equipment to carry out the administrative tasks.

•    To become familiar with the Advice Team database, inputting young people's information accurately.

•    To connect with young people by phone with the aim of seeking their feedback from the service they received at MAP.

•    To make a difference to young people who may be vulnerable and want advice, help and support.

•    To be aware of MAP’s safeguarding policies and procedures.

•    To be aware of MAPs Confidentiality and Data Protection policies.

•    To be part of a warm and welcoming team!
