Summary

We need someone to collect food surplus items for our food bank. The times and days for these differ, but generally on a Monday and Thursday from 2pm onwards.

Detailed description

Collecting surplus food items for our weekly foodbank. Pick ups are from Asda, Drayton Rd, Greggs, Lansdowne Rd, Makro, Cranley Rd, Bookers, Liberator Rd and Morrisons, The Paddocks. These are generally ready to be collected after 2pm on a Monday and Thursday.

Petrol expenses can be reimbursed.

About Mile Cross Phoenix Projects CIO

The Phoenix Centre is a community hub, located in the heart of the Mile Cross estate. We aim to provide a centre for education, recreation and other social activities for the residents of Mile Cross and the wider area. The centre also hosts a variety of local groups and classes, the Phoenix Larder, Community Café, and can offer rooms to hire for business or private events.
