Support for Group leader of the local team of volunteers who provide support to families affected by motor neurone disease.
Sue, our interim group leader (herself a volunteer) leads the team of volunteers in Norfolk by organising bi-monthly online meetings to agree who is doing what! The team arrange regular coffee mornings for families, newsletters, social media posts, visit families to support them directly, host a local website, fundraise, raise awareness about MND and campaign for improved services and support amongst other things. If you feel you may be interested in supporting our working either by sharing responsibilities with Sue or taking on specific responsibilites we would love to hear from you!
Your involvement will make a difference to the lives of families affected by this life-limiting condition while being part of a highly motivated and committed team. In turn you will be provided with an induction to the Association and to your role.
