Support our flagship Saturday Group, held in our Carrow House studio, Norwich.

We are looking for a volunteer to join the team in supporting our flagship Saturday Group, held in our Carrow House studio, Norwich. The Saturday Group has been running since the charity was founded in 1990 where families and young people come together to take part in fun and accessible music activities, supported by a dedicated team of music practitioners and volunteers.

The group meet on Saturdays throughout the year from 10:00 - 12:00. We are looking for a new volunteer to join our existing pool of volunteers to support participants and music practitioners. The duties are changeable and responsive to the needs of the group but tend to a mixture of practical things such as moving furniture, collecting equipment and making refreshments, and pastoral/personal duties such as encouraging young people, supporting the music making and celebrating the input of participants.

We are looking for someone with an interest in our work and who would like to make a difference. You do not need to be musical but you will need to be aware of socially engaged music-making. Experience working with vulnerable groups and those with additional needs is preferable but we can provide support and training if neccesarry. Ideally you would be able to commit to at least two Saturdays each month.
