We are looking for a volunteer to run regular children's craft activities at Great Yarmouth Library on either a Wednesday morning or Saturday afternoon.
Sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am and Saturdays
Saturdays 1:30-3:00pm
Main duties include:
- Helping to set up an activity and clear away when the session is finished
- Helping make sure that all who are attending can take part – this may involve making sure everyone has the resources they need
- Helping to demonstrate how to do a craft or activity
- Promoting future activities that might be of interest to attendees
Key behaviours and skills:
- Should enjoy helping others take part in an activity
- Able to communicate with a wide range of people
- Flexible and helpful approach to activities
- An interest in learning new skills as part of the volunteering role
