We are looking for a volunteer to help with family fun Thursday activities weekly from 4.00-5.00pm

We are looking for a volunteer to help with activities at Swaffham Library on a Thursday afternoon. The sessions include having a range of board games, Lego, and craft activities such as origami available for families to take part in.


Main duties include:


  • Helping to set up activities and games and clear away when the session is finished
  • Helping make sure that all who are attending can take part – this may involve making sure everyone has the resources they need for any crafts set up
  • Helping to demonstrate how to do a craft or activity
  • Promoting future activities that might be of interest to attendees


Key behaviours and skills:


  • Should enjoy helping others take part in an activity
  • Able to communicate with a wide range of people
  • Flexible and helpful approach to activities
  • An interest in learning new skills as part of the volunteering role


A DBS check will be required for this role.
