    • Help set up and clear away activities and resources.
    • Welcome children and families and encourage everyone to get involved.
    • Supervise Pokémon card trading, helping children trade fairly and appropriately.
    • Join in with and help children learn Pokémon Trading Card Game and other Pokémon-related games.
    • Share your knowledge of Pokémon, including characters, types, games and trading cards.
    • Help children who are new to Pokémon understand activities and feel included.
    • Support craft sessions and other creative activities.
    • Help maintain a friendly, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
    • Work alongside library staff and follow staff guidance and relevant library procedures

We’re looking for someone who

    • Has a good knowledge of and enthusiasm for Pokémon.
    • Is friendly, approachable and comfortable engaging with children and families.
    • Enjoys crafts, games and creative activities.
    • Can explain games and activities clearly and patiently.
    • Is happy to encourage fair and friendly card trading.
    • Is reliable and able to work as part of a team.
    • Can suggest new ideas for future Pokémon Club sessions.

What you’ll get from the role

    • The opportunity to share your Pokémon knowledge and interests.
