Event Stewards are a key to the smooth running of events the Norfolk Tank Museum and offer you an opportunity to be part of the team & get to see the collectionDetailed description
You could:
- Assist with the smooth running of events as directed by the event organiser
- Welcome and interact proactively with the public
- Check tickets and answer questions
- Work with the event team to manage crowds including in the event of an emergency evacuation
- Complete light lifting and manual tasks if you are willing and able to do so
Skills you will bring or gain
- Enthusiastic but diplomatic and sensitive to peoples' needs.
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in coordinating and managing events would be a bonus.
- Happy to roll your sleeves up and carry out varying activities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing event needs and schedules.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations for events.
About Norfolk Tank Museum
The Norfolk Tank Museum houses a collection of military vehicles, weapons and militaria mainly from the 20th Century and the Cold War Period. The collection of tanks and armoured cars is maintained in a working condition or is awaiting restoration by our volunteer team.
